Description

The Back River Restoration Committee, Inc. is a grass roots watershed organization built on a hands on approach to tackling issues facing the Back River Watershed and the Chesapeake Bay. We manage a Trash Boom which traps and keeps an average of 37,000 pounds of trash a month from flowing into the Chesapeake Bay. BRRC organizes volunteer stream cleanups, plants trees, storm water runoff, education and awareness. We need volunteers of all ages and abilities to help with stream cleanups.
