Mission Statement

The March To Equality’s mission is to add steps to a virtual platform in the most expansive march in history supporting full Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender equality, thereby raising awareness and engaging activism in the pursuit of human rights worldwide. The march celebrates the 50 years of LGBT history since the Stonewall Riots in NYC on June 28, 1969, and culminates in planned events on June 28, 2019, by which time we anticipate having gathered enough steps to circumnavigate the globe.

Description

March To Equality is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that wants to accomplish three specific goals:

To increase the grassroots power of the LGBT movement worldwide. This demands world leaders take action to eliminate LGBT human rights violations anywhere they persist on the globe.

To improve employer/employee relations with diversity in recruitment and motivation as well as positively impact the bottom line of businesses with LGBT outreach creating a stronger fabric throughout society.

To add your voice in solidarity with the movement as the work towards full LGBT equality is still far away. Homosexuality is illegal in 76 countries, and in some can result in being sentenced to death.
