Description

Volunteers provide a much-needed work force to enhance overall Florida Park Service operations. The Florida Park Service provides volunteers an opportunity to work in areas such as resource management, environmental education/interpretation, administration, maintenance, visitor services, special events and with other volunteers through recruitment and management. Opportunities for volunteer service are as diverse as the parks themselves! Additionally, volunteer involvement creates a better understanding of state parks and develops a meaningful bond between the local community and the park. Volunteering with the Florida Park Service is an opportunity to help the State of Florida preserve our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
