Mission Statement

SCA Medical Missions was founded in 2015 by Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) as an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization. With a vision of doing good by doing well and the desire to make medical mission opportunities more available to SCA teammates, SCA Medical Missions has partnered with Holy Family Surgery Center in Honduras. The Holy Family Surgery Center is a world-class ASC located on the 2,000 acre ranch of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, an orphanage that provides a loving, home-like environment for over 500 children.

Description

SCA Medical Missions supports fundraising on behalf of the Holy Familiy Surgery Center and coordinates week-long surgical brigades to the center. During brigades, physicians, other clinical teammates, non-clinical teammates, and family members come together to perform low-cost, life-changing surgeries for Hondurans who would otherwise go without treatment.
