Description

Governor John R. Rogers High School is celebrating its 40th birthday. Established in 1968, our campus-style facility is situated on 43 acres. It has the feel of a small college campus with its wide layout. Staff and students can enjoy the spectacular view of Mount Rainier as they transition from one area of campus to another. The facility is home to over 64 instructional spaces, 6 computer labs, 6 laboratory classrooms, a greenhouse, swimming pool, a gymnasium, performing arts center, and commons area with a sweeping view of Mount Rainier . A portable village that is configured to 12 portables is home to the Global Village. Behind the campus is a site intended for additional portables as the population of Rogers High School increases. The 2008-2009 school year will open the use of 3 portables in this area, in November.
