People are very unappreciative, and rude. There were children present and it did not seem to have an effect on their manners as far as language and politeness. From my understanding, they have no 12 - step program, or employment seeking programs. From talking to some of the men staying there, it sounds to me as though the staff plays favorites and if you are a person they favor, you may get special treatment, first pick of donations and so on.
