Mission Statement The purpose of Hope House Rescue Mission, Inc. is to serve those less fortunate who come to us for help with compassion and love. We, at the mission, help provide for their needs; whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, regardless of their race, color, creed or social status.
Emergency Shelter □ Meets basic physical needs by providing temporary emergency shelter for approximately 50 homeless men, women and children regardless of their race, color, creed or social status, offering them safe, decent and sanitary living arrangements □ Meets basic physical needs by supply three meals per day, with the noon meal open to the community □ Meets basic physical needs by offering clothing and personal care items to mission residents and the general public □ Case Management oversees the resident population of Hope House, establishes an assessment, refers them to appropriate organizations for additional assistance, tracks their progress and assists them in reaching their goals by helping them find jobs, transportation, housing and health care. 12-Step Transformation Program □ This one-year program is designed to help men and women suffering from addictions to receive salvation and healing. Although it is not a licensed recovery program, it empowers individuals to deal with the root issues that create the need for addictive behavior. The goal is that these men and women become stabilized members of society.Hope House Family Center
□ Helps women with children who are on their own for the first time or who have lost their support network gain the ability to live on their own.
□ Helps women discover the resources available in the Butler County network through case management and collaboration with other non-profit organizations.
□ Helps women rebuild their self-image and self-esteem.
□ Helps women develop a support group which extends past their temporary stay at the Family Center.
□ Helps women develop the skills needed to thrive as single parents through mentoring, job-skills training and parenting and budgeting classes.
