Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Our mission is to maintain a seasonal farmers’ market that supports local producers of healthy, nourishing foods and quality, crafted goods. We desire to build community while providing educational programs that promote local, sustainable living. Our values: Community. Honesty. Friendliness. Organic. Authentic. Fun. Local. Education. Farmer Friendly.
It began with a seed. In this case, an idea was planted in Lansdale Borough by a group of neighborhood residents, councilmembers and businessowners, such as Tabora Farms owner Caleb Torrice, Renew Community Church Pastor J.R. Briggs and Molly Whetstone. The market was originally established by volunteers in 2008, and in that first season was located on Railroad Plaza near Main and Madison streets. In seven years, the idea grew into a strong group of volunteers dedicated to the success of what had grown to be a federally recognized non-profit incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
