Christian Women's Job Corps - Golden Triangle

Description

Provide free classes and personal mentoring for women. 12 week program includes: Book study, self esteem , Personal finance, computer class, resumes,health, parenting and Bible study. Women are connected to resources in the area, and pointed to opportunities learn, and opportunities to serve.

Classes are provided on site at local Christian Women's Job Corps offices, as well as offsite "going to women". Working with area organizations to better serve women through education and personal involvement (mentoring).

CWJC provides 12 week classes in Beaumont, Orange, and Pt. Arthur. When requested, CWJC sends volunteers "offsite" to provide classes to women clients as needed at the restitution center and women's clinic.

Thinking creatively to solve problems and overcome obstacles by networking, mentoring, collaborating, has been a significant part of the success of CWJC. Any women may call to apply for the next program in Beaumont, Pt. Arthur or Orange to be a participant or volunteer in this unique program.
