To improve the quality of life for people who have survived brain injuries and for their families.

Description

Founded in 1983, AHIF provides Resource Coordination to persons/families with traumatic brain injury, providing support for Alabamians to help them cope with the issues of living with traumatic brain injury and helps them transition back into their families, their schools and their communities. Other programs include Recreational Support Groups, Camp, Recreational Day Programs, Respite Care, and Housing.
