To expose, eliminate, and prevent discrimination against women and to assist women in attaining full equality of opportunity in all aspects of life.

Description

The Women's Commission is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that advocates for women's equality. We are a unique organization that serves its clients on an individual, personal and organizational level by focusing on how our diverse communities are effected by gender inequality.

Commissioners are appointed by the City of Tucson Mayor and Council and the Pima County Board of Supervisors. Commissioners work on a volunteer basis on a variety of issues throughout their tenure. The Commission also provides a clearinghouse of information on resources for women.
