Mission Statement

The mission of The Arcadian Chorale is to promote excellence in choral singing at the community level, and thereby make a vital contribution to the musical and artistic life of greater Monmouth County.

Description

Now in its 20th season, The Arcadian Chorale prepares a Fall and a Spring program, with concerts in Nov.-Dec. and in May. One of the most active ensembles in NJ, the group appears at performance sites throughtout the area. It also gives several special concerts in the course of the year, and has appeared at the NJPAC, Lincoln Center, and at Carnegie Hall seven times. Reknowned for its innovative programming, the group has released audio recordings of many of its programs. Now composed of 60 community singers, the ensemble is conducted by Marina Alexander, its founder and Artistic Director. All of the activities of the Chorale are made possible by volunteers. The Chorale is a member of the Monmouth County Arts Council and of Chorus America.
