Through hope, laughter, and play, we create joyful experiences by providing recreational programs to those in the community who are coping with health and other life challenges.

Description

Little Bricks of Hope (LBH) is Hope Laugh Play's flagship program, hosted on-site at area Hospitals, camps and schools that serve children suffering from illness, disabilities or other life challenges.

Once a month, for a few fun hours, Little Bricks of Hope (LBH) provides children the opportunity to escape to a new world. With the aid of LBH volunteers and staff, patients and siblings choose their LEGO sets and build during the session. For children who are unable to come to the event in person, LEGO sets are provided to parents or staff to take to them. When playtime is over, the children take their new LEGO sets, provided by LBH, home to keep.

A typical event requires at least two volunteers who will purchase and deliver the LEGO sets, as well as assist the children with building as needed.
