Mission Statement

JudyGails Place provides a variety of transitional services for families who are working towards self-sufficiency after leaving a domestic violent situation. We aim to prevent homelessness, victims returning to abusers and stop the generational cycle of domestic violence one family at a time.

Description

JudyGails Place works directly with families who have experienced intimate partner violence and have made an ongoing commitment to leave the environment. We provide confidential services to make it easier for these families to find resources and stay safer during the legal process of leaving an intimate partner that often takes many months. Some of the direct that services we provide include: advocacy (mentorship), social oppertunities, trained legal mentors, budgeting assistance, emergency funds, overnight supplies, temporary housing, resume writing, job training, child care, home furnishings, counseling and many other services as the needs arise.
