Description

The Rocky River Watershed Council is a citizen-based, volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the aquatic quality of the Rocky River and its tributaries. We work to achieve our mission by identifying water resource problems and solutions, teaching the value of the Rocky River watershed and how to improve its health, collaborating with watershed communities to address local concerns, bringing together concerned citizens to make a difference for our shared environment, and conducting hands-on activities that make a positive impact on the Rocky River and its watershed. Formed in 2002 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 2008, the Rocky River Watershed Council has been working for the health of the Rocky River for nearly 15 years. The Rocky River Watershed Council remains the only organization dedicated solely to the protection and restoration of the Rocky River and its tributaries.
