Description

The Purposes of the Corporation are educational, specifically: · to provide practical and theoretical instruction according to the Annual Curriculum in the various trade skills required to succeed as an employee in the Boatbuilding & Repair industry; · to provide tuition according to the Annual Curriculum in the planning, budgeting and execution of jobs/tasks required to succeed as an entrepreneur in the Boatbuilding & Repair industry; · to stimulate creativity by guiding and inspiring students to seek novel solutions to the problems common in this trade through the process invention; to encourage an open forum for discussion and the free exchange of ideas; · to prepare, in generally accepted and technologically unique formats, educational methods and materials necessary and valuable in achieving the educational purposes, and to distribute these in a manner distinguishable from that of ordinary commercial distribution. We believe that this endeavor will offer the chance to change the lives of our students by providing a qualification in a multi-faceted trade; be a benefit to the global industry as workforce development; and, will attain the life purpose of its founders to 'give back' value in return for success.
