Mission Statement
The New Sun Rising exists as a non-profit organization that launches projects to positively impact cultural, environmental, and social wellness. Our organization creates measureable change through projects primarily affecting the region of Western PA through direct action, education, social service, goods, and training.
Description
By creatively approaching issues,and working with existing organizations, New Sun Rising aims to identify and adopt grass roots projects in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Supporting projects as varied as researching a cancer support services database for the region, starting the Millvale Children's Library, giving positive experiences for young children from varied backgrounds, working to turn a blighted plot into a green space, and raising money for flood affected communities; New Sun Rising is making a difference.
