Mission Statement

Our mission is to keep pets and their family together in times of crisis.

Description

Companion pets in Crisis (CPiC) assist Phoenix Fire Dept with 911 crisis calls involving pets. CPiC provides emergency temporary shelter for pets displaced from their home due to fire, evacuation, death of owner, homelessness or medical transport and have no one able to care for pets just temporary. C.P.i.C provides on-scene emotional support, resources and meet the immediate needs for pets such as pet food, bowls, leashes, collars, crate, kitty supplies, ect. to family members involved in the crisis situation. Providing these services not only reduces the anxiety and stress on the family and its pets it also reduces the surrender and euthanasia rate of healthy companion pets. Our goal is to reunite every pet with their owner once crisis has resolved.
