Mission Statement

The Anchorage International Film Festival is a not for profit organization. Our mission is to support Independent and International Film. Our goals are to develop a film program that will engage our imagination and enhance our lives culturally and artistically while promoting our great State as a stage for film productions. North America's northernmost independent film festival is getting ready for a record-breaking 9th year, bringing hungry movie-goers in from the cold and dark to bask in the illumination of hot films from around the globe. After eight fun filled years, the Festival is gearing up for its biggest, most well orchestrated event to date. AIFF is known for offering moviegoers an interesting variety of venues and unusual events designed to enhance the festival experience.
