Botanica is the non-profit organization building and growing Kentucky's first botanical gardens. The Waterfront Botanical Gardens project will be be built on an old landfill site in the heart of Louisville's waterfront corridor. The Gardens will include an Living Building Challenge education building, a LEED-certified, green roof visitors center, a tropical plant conservatory, an edible garden, a water filtration garden, a children's garden designed for exploration and discovery, and much more.
Being a member or volunteer of Botanica gives you an opportunity to be a part of this incredible and unique resource for the city of Louisville in the very beginning stages, watching the gardens grow in front of your very eyes.
