Mission Statement

To research, recognize and commemorate the culture and heritage of African Americans in the State of Oregon. Our goal is to secure a place and forum in which this heritage can be shared with and researched by the greater public and scholars.

Description

We research, present information to schools, colleges, civic and social organizations, libraries and historical museums. We produce major exhibits, and have become a center for studyof Oregon's African American life, heritage and culture.
