Mission Statement

HERO was founded with the help of Board Chair, Academy Award-winner, Olympia Dukakis 5 years ago. Our mission is to build bridges between artists and audiences of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds by way of classical theater. We re-imagine classics for today's audiences.

Description

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit theater company, founded in August 2011. We consist of actors, writers, directors and producers of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. We believe in affordable theater for all! We also have an education department for children that provides scholarships for children.
