Symbolic Art offers affordable after school programming which includes sports i.e. basketball, flag football, soccer, interactive group games, seasonal camps, peer-to-peer tutoring, academic enrichment and community service projects for youth ages 4-16. Symbolic Art programming caters to the various interests of the youth who participate with us. With its beginnings rooted in offering youth basketball development clinics in June 2008 Symbolic Art has grown to become an accredited USA Basketball Youth Development program with more than 100 recurring participating athletes .
Symbolic Art programming includes spring, winter and summer break camps and through our collaborative community partnerships with local PTAs/PTOs, LVMPD (North West Area Command) and NV Child Seekers - Symbolic Art is an integral contributor in an ongoing anti-bully effort where youth empowerment assemblies are hosted throughout the valley. Youth are inspired to be upstanders and to do their part to end the harmful effects of bullying situations.
Local business supporters such as Chuck E. Cheese, LaserQuest, Ryan's Express, Executive Limousine and other community based organizations contribute to helping the Symbolic Art experience incomparable to any other out of school time program. At Symbolic Art our core philosophy is simple: We see everyone as an artist who need to be developed and provided with a platform where artistic expression is encouraged and celebrated.
