BYRON COMMUNITY WELLNESS FOUNDATION

Description

The Wellness foundation hosts different events in the community each year. From March-October the BCWF hosts the local farmer's market every Saturday morning. In addition, we host the Byron Center Christmas parade in December, the West Michigan Chalk Art festival in June, and a charity hockey event in March. Wellness can be brodaly defined as the ability to comfortably meet and perform activities of daily living and beyond regardless of age, culture or disabilities. Wellness encompasses components of physical activity, healthy nutrition, safety, mental health, and social wellbeing.
