Mission Statement

Animal Ark Rescue began rescuing animals in 2011 with a mission to bring Columbus to a No Kill Community. We worked to help the city shelter's most at-risk animals and to increase the shelter's live release rate with innovative programs targeting unweaned puppies, entire litters, pregnant dogs and cats, unweaned kittens, cats with ringworm, small dogs with behavioral challenges and many sick and injured pets. We saved close to 6000 animals. A barn cat program, FIV adoptions and our senior pet program are just a few of the ways Animal Ark helps save pets.

Cause I love to work with animals. Also I have to do 7 hours of community service work every single end of nine weeks. And also cause this is what all magnet students are doing across muscogee county.
