State : 9:30 am - 8:00 pm, (6464 W State St, Boise, ID 83714) Broadway : 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, (2160 Broadway Ave, Boise, ID 83706) Broadway Furniture : 10:00 am - 6:00 pm ( 2110 Broadway Ave, Boise, ID 83706) Meridian : 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, ( 213 N Main St, Meridian, ID 83642) Caldwell : 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, (3719 E, Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID 83605) Tasks: Tasks vary, but it's best to expect sorting through donations, including tagging and organizing items, helping with floor displays, and assisting with any cleaning needed. Schedule: Our thrift stores are very flexible in terms of the time volunteers can help out. We ask that you volunteer for a minimum of an hour. Volunteers are just asked to end their shift 30 minutes before close (so the store staff can close on time). You can create a schedule that works well for you. Attire: Volunteers are required to wear appropriate casual attire appropriate for a work environment. A t-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap are all acceptable. We ask that you refrain from wearing anything that could be considered offensive in a work environment. Close-toed shoes are required (sneakers are ideal). If you have hair long enough to pull back, we ask that you have it pulled back. Dressing in layers is ideal, as you may be working both inside and outside, depending on the task. Sometimes volunteers work in the back of the store processing donations where the doors are open. We ask that you keep this in mind when dressing to volunteer at one of our thrift stores. When you arrive: Please ask for one of the managers and let them know you are ready to volunteer. They will give you a safety walk-through of the store and have you fill out an Emergency Contact Form for their records. Please just let me know once you have completed the orientation and when you would like to begin and I'll let the store manager know to expect you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for your desire to help us prevent homelessness in the Treasure Valley!

Are you Handy? Construction experience, handyman, or DIYer? St. Vincent de Paul can use your help! We always have ongoing "construction" type projects (ripping up carpet at stores/removing glue, demo and moving rock to pour concrete floor ect...) going on that we could use extra hands with. These projects are in order to improve our facilities to handle growth and better serve our clients. By partnering with us in improving our facilities, you make a lasting impact on our community! This opportunity is open to both groups and individuals!
