Description

The Outdoor Classroom program provides a place for kids to learn through hands on exploration, get excited about nutrition and healthy eating, connect with their environment, and learn about citizenship and stewardship. Our outdoor classroom already has a native plant area, annual vegetable beds, composting, and an orchard. This year we are planning to build more annual beds, perrenial fruit and herb beds, a beautiful entrance, a tool shed, an outdoor kitchen, and more! Our garden is used as a learning space for our K-5 classes, our after school program, and for special events to bring our parents into our school community.
