Description
People with developmental disabilities and their families are valued citizens of the state of Washington. The Developmental Disabilities Administration strives to develop and implement public policies that will promote individual worth, self-respect, and dignity such that each individual is valued as a contributing member of the community.
Fircrest School provides support to about 200 people with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Its employees take pride in providing excellent care and service to the individuals who reside at Fircrest. Located in Shoreline, just north of Seattle, Fircrest School has excellent access to the major medical and educational facilities that support the individuals who live at Fircrest. Its location also allows the individuals who reside at Fircrest the opportunity to participate in many of the sporting, cultural and outdoor events held in the Seattle area.
