Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a safe, joyful, creative, and affirming environment for trans singers to uncover or rediscover their voice, and for private clients to develop voice use and communication patterns that resonate with their personal gender expression.

Description

Resonate Trans Voice Center provides voice education and training for transgender and gender nonconforming/nonbinary individuals. Voice is one of the most crucial and sometimes least guided steps in the transition process, and can significantly influence the personal and professional success and fulfillment of a trans person.

Singers in ResonaTe choir have the opportunity to meet and support their peers, while using music a joyful extension of self-expression through the transition process.

Resonate’s private voice clients receive voice training for both speaking and singing from welcoming, experienced voice care professionals.

Resonate also promotes and supports research and publication in the realm of trans voice education and training, and its impact on the health and well-being of trans individuals.
