Mission Statement

The Heritage Foundation serves as an instrument preserving the history of the Northern Red River Valley. The Heritage Foundation Village brings history to life with tours of pioneer buildings, hands-on learning educational programs and presentations representing the Upper Midwest in the mid to late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

Description

We are an all volunteer non-profit organization. We have many different events throughout the year. Our biggest being Heritage Days, which is the 3rd weekend in August. It is a five day event, this includes farmers market, parade, tractor rodeo, kids events, live demonstratios (sawmill, threshing, blacksmith shop and more). We also have a horse show and live entertainment and more.

Other events we have are a Fall festival, Christmas festival, tours, company picnics, family reunions and other public functions.
