WASHINGTON CONTEMPORARY BALLET

Description

Washington Contemporary Ballet is unique among area dance organizations in its commitment to providing a solid background to its students in the historical, artistic, and technical areas dance.

Year around classes are offered in a variety of dance styles including modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, flamenco with a strong foundation in ballet. Classes are available for ages 3 through adult. Since ballet and dance are performing arts, WCB provides multiple opportunities throughout the year to perform including "The Nutcracker", Repertory Concerts, All School Recital and various Guest Performances throughout the Puget Sound region.

WCB is a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt, Non Profit Organization. A nonprofit is a tax-exempt organization that serves the public interest. In general, the purpose of this type of organization must be charitable, educational, scientific, religious or literary. Governance of the organization is managed by a Board of Directors. Donations, cash or in-kind, to Washington Contemporary Ballet are tax deductible as allowed by law.
