Mission Statement

Friends Against Hunger's mission is to feed hungry in the United States and substantially reduce starvation around the world. We involve local communities by using volunteers to package our specially formulated meals. We are donating food to the local feeding programs in Springfield, MO as well as around the world.

We have no paid employees and our overhead is 2%. All donations received go towards supplies and ingredients for packaging healthy meals.

Description

We package a special meal which provides a well balanced rice casserole. The vegetarian meal is widely accepted around the world. It only requires 6-8 cups of water and cooks in about 20 minutes to ensure the rice is done. It is a simple and well balanced meal meant to help the most severely malnourished people survive.

We also package and enriched macaroni and cheese meal to satisfy the taste of our friends and family in the U.S.
