Mission Statement

The Jewish Ministers Cantors Association of America is a professional international association of traditional Reverend Cantors serving the Jewish Community for over a century. Our goal is to help revive the art of the Cantor, bringing beauty back to the Jewish worship service.

Description

The JMCA membership has been serving the Jewish community since 1897, having seen such distinguished members as Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt, Cantors Moshe and David Koussevitsky, Cantor Kapov Kagan, and Cantor Chaskele Ritter to name a few. The JMCA has been successful in building bridges of understanding between the various factions of Judaism, as well as other religions, has concerts designed to raise money for charities, and tries to be an integral part of Jewish life.
