Mission Statement

Our mission is to challenge young ladies to accept only God's best for their lives. Our vision is to build a global sisterhood of Christ-centered young ladies and a network of resources to enhance their lives.

Description

God’s Ladies Of Significance & Service (GLOSS) is a unique, global-bound, faith based sisterhood organization for young ladies, ages 5 to 25 years old. The name GLOSS denotes that its members are both cherished by God and are compelled to serve others. GLOSS currently is currently available to young ladies within proximity of Decatur, GA and Woodbridge, VA.

These days, young ladies are living in a time of moral value shifts, social problems, family dysfunction, teen pregnancy, depression, anxiety, loneliness and low self-esteem. Like butterflies, girls experience multiple phases in life. GLOSS believes that compelling young ladies to accept only God's best and inspiring them through their multiple phases is in obedience to Titus 2, which instructs older women to teach younger women. This bonding relationship strengthens their chances to become awesome women of God and decreases the risk of becoming an adverse statistic.

GLOSS serves as the bridge between home and church in the life of a young lady.

Would you recommend GLOSS (GODS LADIES OF SIGNIFICANCE & SERVICE)?

GLOSS is truly a Christ based organization and very supportive of their volunteers! I started volunteering for GLOSS during the early part of September and it was an awesome experience. Unfortunately due to my daughter's surgery being more time consuming than planned, I requested a position with a smaller workload and rather than being met with resistance and disappointment, the Executive Director, Cherise called me directly to check on me and my family and to relieve me of volunteering to focus on making sure that my daughter was well. She even guaranteed me that I would still be able to volunteer with GLOSS at a later time and I cannot wait until that opportunity presents itself again. GLOSS is awesome!!
