Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital volunteers are dedicated and caring. We strive to be cooperative, flexible, and dependable with a positive attitude while providing quality care and service to all members of the HFWH community.

Description

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is located just north of beautiful downtown Wyandotte. We also have a campus in Brownstown, Henry Ford Medical Center-Brownstown. Volunteers at Wyandotte provide services in our 376 inpatient facility. Volunteers at Brownstown provide service to our large ambulatory care facility. Volunteers are a valued part of the hospital team, assisting in the Emergency Department, Gift Shop, Lobby Services, Ambulatory Surgery, General Medical Floors, Physical Therapy and many other areas. Our volunteers are a supportive, collaborative group that share a passion for excelllence.

I worked in the Gift Shop and absolutely loved it. I was unable to work due to my health. I am now able. I was able to interact with people both patients and visitors. It was a very knowledgeable and enjoyable experience.
