Mission Statement
The mission of Partnered for Progress is to educate, inform and emplower women to save lives from breast and cervical cancer by ensuring a seamless health care process through developing and advocating for a comprehensive, coordinated community system which offers cultureally relevant outreach and education, and completely and timely bereat and cervical cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
Description
• Build and maintain a Partnership
volunteer coalition to prevent and
control breast and cervical cancer
through program planning,
development and implementation.
• Increase public awareness and change
social norms about the importance of
early and regular breast and cervical
cancer screening/rescreening services.
• Educate priority population women
about available low and no-cost
screening services in the community.
• Ensure the timely delivery of quality
clinical services through provider site
reviews.
• Conduct Continuous Quality
Improvement (CQI) activities that will
achieve and maintain a high standard
of breast and cervical screening and
diagnostic service delivery.
• Maintain a network of providers to
ensure timely delivery of screening
services to program eligible women.
• Plan and implement professional
education trainings in collaboration
with other organizations utilizing
California Department of Public Health
Services education modules.
