To restore and preserve the Church of the Presidents Museum as the only remaining structure associated with the presidents who vacationed in Long Branch, and to open for the public as a museum, repository, and center for the study of all seven presidents and of the Gilded Age.

Description

Built in 1879 and consecrated as St. James Episcopal Chapel., it was the seaside place of worship for many of the wealthy visitors to Long Branch. It is the most historic structure remaining from Long Branch’s Gilded Age. Today the museum is associated with the 7 US Presidents who vacationed at 'The Branch’.
