To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Description

In addition to basic golf skills, the participants of The First Tee learn valuable lessons that transfer over to their everyday lives. Skills such as; maintaining a positive attitude through tough times and thinking through decisions before acting, are taught through a variety of golf-related activities.

Both my son (as a participant) and I (as a volunteer)have been involved with The First Tee Program over the past year. It has truly been an outstanding opportunity for both of us. Associating with such a first class organization and first class people that know their mission and business makes this a very unique volunteer opportunity for those who love the game of golf.
