To improve the quality of life and ensure dignity and respect for persons with serious mental illness, and to offer support to their families and close friends.

Description

NAMI is there for individuals and families when mental illness disrupts their lives. We understand how hard it is, and we're here to walk the journey with you. Specifically, NAMI offers free support groups, classes, and advocacy for persons who live with mental illness and their loved ones.

Common responses to NAMI classes include: "I realized I am not alone" and "I can finally stop blaming myself."

There's nothing easy about living with a mental health challenge. However, information and support can make life much, much better.
