Mission Statement

The purpose of the Women's Board is to aid the Court in promoting a sound program for the youth in the care of the Court and to aid in interpreting this program to the community. This Board also promotes volunteer services to the Court and encourages the donation of private funds. The Board also raises funds for use above and beyond the scope of public monies.

Description

The members of the Board volunteer in many ways, including: hosting weekly parties for youth in detention who have earned the privilege of attending, providing clerical assistance to the Clerk's Office and Traffic Court, insuring youth in detention or in a youth home receives a Christmas gift and an Easter Basket, supporting the Court Staff with an annual Valentine Tea, providing funding on as needed basis to Court Staff who requests items for youth on their case plans in desperate situations.
