Description

I have been a Rotarian for one year. In that year, I fed the homeless at food kitchens, was part of four food drives, raised money for the Boy Scouts, raised funds to buy underwear, toiletries, boots, coats, socks to needy Veterans. We served dinners to the homeless on Thanksgiving, lunches to homeless veterans. But most we raised over $80,000 to help Veteran groups, kids with disabilities, pet shelters. We sent members to Haiti to build a system for clean water. We support funding for polio research. The Rotary is a phenomenal organization with members from the business community rolling up their sleeves to help the unfortunate others. I am proud to be a Rotarian.
