Mission Statement

The Little Big Time Child Development Center’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community through our early child development program incorporating cultural traditions, parent involvement, and community involvement. Our teachers passionately embrace a balanced approach to learning- giving you reassurance that we value your child as a unique individual who needs to be nurtured, protected and respected at all times. We are committed educators who are dedicated to the education and development of your child, allowing us to provide professional and quality care in our center.

Description

Little Big Time Child Development Center (formerly known as Buena Vista Child Development Center) is a non-profit organization founded by Chairwoman Rhonda Morningstar Pope and the Buena Vista Rancheria in the spring of 2007; to offer a culturally appropriate preschool experience for Native American children and others within the community.

The key to Little Big Time is the successful culturally diverse preschool curriculum, as well as the amazing staff. High quality teachers are the secret to any great program and Little Big Time is no exception. The staff at Little Big Time is the best around. We are thrilled to offer a one-of-a kind "Elite" program designed to meet each student’s individual needs and style of learning. Little Big Time is dedicated to the changing needs of students, and we work hand-in-hand with both Sacramento County and First Five Sacramento to address the ever-changing standards. As the needs change in the community, so does our program.
