Mission Statement

We volunteer as a work party that meets bi-monthly to help clean and do light landscaping of local community center so that children and seniors have a clean environment to play and exercise.

Description

In partnership with the SF Rec and Parks Department, the Friends of the Sunset Rec Center meets bi-monthly on the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 am - 11:00 am to volunteer and help clean up the perimeter and landscape projects to rejuvenate the recreational community space used by local residents. All levels and abilities are welcome. Bring your favorite gardening gloves, wear long pants amd closed toe shoes. Children under 18 must have parents or legal guardians to supervise their volunteer efforts. We hope you can join us! Upcoming dates are: Feb 6, Apr 4, Jun 6, Aug 6, Oct 1, Dec 3.
