Mission Statement

Our mission is to develop healthy self-images in women and children. We inspire participants to embrace the inner love for themselves and others through doll-making. Our approach celebrates both the differences and similarities of diverse peoples and cultures. We strongly promote the idea of giving, which we believe creates a two-fold effect: empowerment enjoyed by the giver and the energy of love and compassion felt by the receiver.

Description

The Ragbaby Exchange consists of workshops and programs to educate women and children on self-esteem at a variety of community facilities, as well as workshops for incarcerated women and juvenile girls. We use doll-making as our tool to grow the individual from the inside out. Through a process of self-discovery, the workshop brings about a sencse of acceptance, affirmation, forgiveness and peace within the individual and in our communities.
