Mission Statement

Since 1979, Project R.I.D.E. has provided recreational therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Our program is dedicated to the improvement of a rider's physical, mental, social and emotional well-being through interaction with specially trained horses and ponies.

Description

We provide therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Volunteers assist in the daily operation of our program including walking with students while they ride and managing horses safely.

Project ride is the best!!! All the great volunteers and staff are so helpful and welcoming!! The students are awesome to work with, as well as the horses!! They need volunteers and what better then to work with special kids and animals!!
