Hospice care is defined as comfort-focused care for people with a life-limiting illness. Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care takes a team approach to care in order to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families. We focus on the quality of life as the patient and family define it. We also focus on the rights of the patient and their loved ones to remain in control of the patient's life and health care choices.
