NEHDA, Inc. is committed to improving the lives of the residents and business people in the northeast community of Syracuse by: -Promoting neighborhood stabilization by providing and developing quality housing with an emphasis on owner-occupancy. -Providing advocacy and support in all arenas for a positive quality of life. -Promoting community-enhancing economic development. -Encouraging and sponsoring community-building activities.

Description

The Northeast Hawley Development Association, Inc. (NEHDA) is a not-for-profit community housing development agency committed to revitalizing and stabilizing the northeast sector of Syracuse. Established in 1974, NEHDA provides homeownership opportunities for underserved low to moderate income households who choose to live on Syracuse’s northeast side. NEHDA offers new construction or totally rehabbed homes to eligible households. Outreach, advocacy and community building are major components of our program which sustain a positive quality of life for all residents and stakeholders within our service area.
