Platte Valley & Western Railway

Description

The Platte Valley & Western, a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization, was formed out of the Platte Valley & Western Model Railroad Club which was located in the basement of Denver's Union Station from 1983 thru 2013. The group lost it's space due to the renovation of the station and has begun building a new display in an outbuilding at the White Fence Farm restaurant in Lakewood.

The PV&W is an independent organization and leases space from the White Fence Farm for it's display.

The 5 year plan calls for construction of two displays at the WFF. First, a small display in the front portion of the outbuilding showcasing elements of Railroading in the Rockies. Once complete, it will be joined by additional elements in the larger back room of the outbuilding.
