Mission Statement
Portland Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts theatre dedicated to producing quality, intimate performances in which the interaction between artists and audience is paramount. We hold theatre to be a space in which people of all social, economic, racial, sexual and political backgrounds can come together to celebrate the complexity of our shared human experience.
Description
The Portland Playhouse is currently seeking Front of House volunteers. Positions include: concessionaire (selling snacks and popcorn), beer-tender (OLCC card not necessary, as beer is free and donated), usher, outdoor greeter, and raffle ticket seller. Shifts entail working 1 hr before the show, 20 mins at intermission, and 15 mins post-show to clean theatre. All volunteers receive a complimentary ticket to the show. (Note: If the show is sold-out during the night of your volunteer shift, your ticket may be bumped to another night choosing, though we do try our best to avoid this).
