Mission Statement

Our Mission is to inspire hope through our ministry of service by providing individuals and families with tools to improve their quality of life. Our Vision is a safe, healthy, and productive community where families are strengthened, people live with dignity, and human potential is realized.

Description

For 120 years, Volunteers of America has stepped forward to help vulnerable members of our communities by providing services and tools to improve their quality of life. Each year, Volunteers of America Southwest serves over 15,000 individuals, children, and families in San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, Imperial, and Orange Counties.

Volunteers of America Southwest assists veterans with disabilities in achieving self-reliance, helps our communities stay safe with public safety programs, provides opportunities for men and women to return to their families clean and sober. We care for seniors and individuals struggling with mental health, house low-income families, and invest in the futures of children through education and social development programs.
