The 4th on Broadway @ Mackenzie has been recognized as the Largest Free Festival in Texas.

Description

The 32nd Annual 4th on Broadway Celebration will be held on July 1-4, 2022 in Mackenzie Park and Cooks Garage. This signature event showcases the region's cultural richness to the greater Lubbock trade area spanning a 200-mile radius including portions of eastern New Mexico and western Oklahoma.

The 2022 event will build on its tradition of displaying exceptional artistry by once again showcasing local and regional performers in a multiple-day event attracting in excess of 80,000 people. As in year past, the free event will include a street dance featuring Texas Country artists, a street dance for the Hispanic community featuring Tejano artists, a parade with over 100 floats, a picnic in the park, a massive kid's area with something for everyone, and an evening concert and a massive fireworks extravaganza.

The 4th on Broadway, also known as the "Largest Free Festival in Texas", is free for the entire community. With new sponsorship support, Broadway Festivals can continue to provide this event to the region while supporting outdoor family fun, arts, and tourism.
